lockMart is a company who really cares about art. For years, it's corporate magazine, Code One, had an artwork on the cover and if not, at least a double page in it. I suscribe to it for this reasons. Unfortunatelly, they change in the past years and artwork became less and less present. So I give up and unsubscribe.
During last spring, they realeased the second art special issue of Code One and I saw it in several offices in Air Forces HQ in the middle east. I tried two times to negociate a copy for me but none of the officers were ready to give it away... Lucky enough, Wade Meyers who's is featured on this release offered me a copy during the last ASAA forum.

My favorite painting is the Keith Ferris "Doolittle Blind Flight".. A beauty.

What about your choice ?

Quite  revealing when  you  see  the  number  of  aviation  artists  out  there  nowadays .
For  some  reason I  like  the  F16  in  pencil  - as  long  as  it's  well  done!

"Doolittle's Blind Flight" is excellent, but there are so many other great ones, like Shigeo Koike's "Model 5B Vega" (It's A. Earhart's plane) and his "PV-1 Ventura".

I used to be a contractor for Lockheed Martin in the UK but I never saw this, lots of inspiration there, lots of styles to admire
