Does anyone know if you can use rubbing alcohol on a q-tip type swab to remove a top layer of acrylic paint? I'm talking about a small area, not an entire canvas. Any idea of this working? I heard about something like this a while back and can't remember the details.

Nope, don't try it. I did with some less than desireable results. It takes it all off!
