Just starting on a couple of new pieces of work. The first is a Hansa Brandenburg W12 floatplane. This is the beginnings of the simple 3D I'll use for perspective. Haven't decided yet whether it will be straight vector or a mix of vector/raster.

I always liked the inverted tail on this one. I'm looking forward to see your model.

I think that's one of Ernst Heinkel's early designs.  He always had an unconventional streak in him.  This should be another winner, Gray.   North Sea background coming up?

This one is a bit of a tough shape to model Gray, struts going every which way off those floats.

That lozenge camouflage on the wings and upper surfaces will surely make you cross eyed during the course of painting it.

Its a great subject tho...I especially like floatplanes.

Another beauty in the works Gray! If I had the patience you digital guru's have...well...my drawings would be hyper realistic. That's not going to happen though. I get bored after the rough draft is complete.

Sometimes weird, but always interesting, that's WW1-era aircraft, I like your choice here...

There are a lot of struts on this one and the paint scheme should be a challenge. Thanks Kev, Lyle, Clave. The struts have been put in, hopefully correctly.

The simple model of the Hansa brandenburg is completed at this point. It's crude but should be ample to get what I want from it.
