and the quality of the work on here is unbelievable..congrats to all. I have been busy with the bloody Dr1 drawing..its now on its fifth attempt and was hoping some of you gents could have a quick look and see if anything needs looked at..very appreciated if you could..

Supermarine Speed Spitfire

Hi Fellow Cat2 artists,

I'm working on a drawing of the Supermarine Speed Spitfire. to replace the old one in my file.

I'm need information and photos of where they flew the aircraft while they were test flying it so I can make some sort of a backdrop for the aircraft.

I do know that the airframe was pulled off of the factory line (K9834, 48th aircraft).

It was test flown by Mutt Summers on November 11, 1938 and by Amory Burns Purvis in February 1939.

So any and all information or where to look would be most welcome.

I'll call this little project of what the A.W.56 flying wing may have looked like done. An interesting design that got beat out by the other V bombers in the early 50's.

Risk Assesment.

It would appear that UK Law mandates that all businesses however small must be in possesion of a Risk Assesment that complies to Health & safety at work regulations.

Whilst I would love to respond with "Boll****", I have to admit that most of the 'chemicals' we use, including paint has H&S notices applied. Also even as a one man band we are not immune from accidents at work. Has anybody ever has one completed? For particulary within the UK community here, I would rather tap into an established one then spend hours and hours explaining the ins and outs of picking my nose to a H&S Inspector.

Now let me find a tree to hug!

Devil Dog Take Down

I painted the underpainting of this back in early September, but other than wiping off all the progress previously made I haven't touched it since.

Fingers crossed, but tomorrow the lids come off the oils again.

36" x 24" oil on canvas. Shamrock 201 of VMFA-333 scores the only MiG kil(s) by a USMC aircraft during the Vietnam war, 10th Sept 1972.

Been a long time aviation and car enthusiast and do paint a fair bit in water colour as a hobby, never sold any but just do it for pleasure until recently when i did sell something lol a Doodlebug being tipped over by a Hawker
Typhoon.

I just need to resize some piccies to post up, did that but will not upload?
